The mission of Bethel UMC is to transform our community by faith into the Body of Christ which is the Church. We want to extend the love, compassion, healing and mercy of Christ to our community in life changing ways through the movement of the Holy Spirit. We intend to reach people for Christ by offering hospitality, encouragement, acceptance, and a worship experience that gives everyone the biblical truth and extends the ministry of Jesus Christ is simple ways that are easily understood.
The goal of this mission is to make Disciples for Jesus Christ by reaching out to our neighbors, friends, co-workers, family and our communities. This can be done by trusting God, sharing the love of Jesus and relying on the Holy Spirit.
We will stay connected to the vine (Jesus Christ) and lift up the vine by being supportive branches and producing good fruit. Jesus said: ” If I am lifted up I will draw all people to me” (John 12:32)
